DeBrase and Thomas both pass 100 point mark

As the season came to a close, two of the Bates captains were able to reach personal milestones. Chris DeBrase '14 , Sean Thomas '14 both finished their Bates hockey careers with over 100 career points.

DeBrase netted his 100th point in a playoff clinching game versus St. Anslem's College late in his senior year. In his freshman year he had 10 goals 15 assists for 25 points. He followed that year with a 9-15-24 stat line as a sophomore, and a somewhat disappointing junior year with 5-11-16. DeBrase then exploded as a senior finishing with 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 total points in 18 games. DeBrase finished with 41 career goals, 64 assists, and 105 career points in 66 career games.

Thomas was able to reach the century mark more quickly, netting number 100 versus St. Joseph's College. Thomas has lead the team in points and goals in all four of his years at Bates. He started with a 19-10-29 line as a freshman. He then had 19-9-28 as a sophomore and in only 8 games as a junior he was able to net 15 goals and 4 assists for 19 points. Thomas also exceeded any previous expectations as a senior as he went off for 28 goals and 18 assists, amassing to 45 points in 17 games. Thomas finished with 78 career goals, 40 assists, and 118 points in just 56 games.
